Who are The Gifted...?

Grown out of the success of our agency managed band The Talent, The Gifted have created an exceptional sound & stage show and continue to rival the biggest and best acts around the globe. Consisting of the finest session musicians and following The Talent's lead, The Gifted regularly perform at over 200 weddings, corporate events and private parties each and every year. The Gifted cover all the biggest hits from the 50's through to the modern day and constantly update their repertoire to keep up with the changing times and ultimately offer the same amazing lead vocals, top notch equipment and outstanding musicianship that you'd expect of a Monitor Music band.

Your Options...

The Gifted is available with different size line ups to suit you, your function and your budget and they work as an 8 piece right down to 3 piece party band. The most popular line up is the 4 piece band consisting of 4 lead vocalists, guitar, bass, drums and keyboards although for that extra WOW factor why not augment the band by female vocals & a 3 piece brass section including trombone, trumpet & saxophone. Our line-ups are very flexible so if the line up you require isn't listed then please contact us to discuss your requirements.

What we offer

Apart from the fact The Gifted are incredibly talented and experienced musicians they also offer the following:-

  • No two sets are ever the same; every set is based upon audience reaction or decided with the client in advance.
  • The Gifted can be increased in size by adding a female vocalist, saxophone, percussion and anything up to a three piece brass section.
  • The Gifted can supply you with a jazz/swing set during dinner or drinks.
  • Professionally mixed recorded music is available throughout the breaks or why not hire an additional DJ and benefit from 30,000 classic and current hits.
  • Varied & extensive experience of all types of corporate & private functions all over the world.
  • Become the star for the night and augment your evening with a set of bandeoke (karaoke with a live band)
  • You can leave us to make any technical or logistical arrangements with your venue.
  • The Gifted can provide everything you need for your evening entertainment and use a state of the art PA system delivering a crisp clear sound at a level to suit you & your guests.
  • The Gifted's intelligent moving light system creates a fantastic atmosphere on stage and on the dance floor with additional lighting available from Monitor Lighting, we've got it covered.

Where it all began...

After a few years our flagship band The Talent had performed for 100's of happy private & corporate clients and found they were turning a lot of work away due to not being able to be in two places at the same time. They also found that performing 4 gigs a week for 52 weeks of the year meant that occasionally each member of The Talent needed some time off to re-charge batteries or simply attend an important family event. This gave us a dilemma, so rather than turn the work away we conceived the perfect solution.

Deps

Deputy's (or deps for short) are highly educated and experienced musicians who stand in whenever required. These reliable and equivalent alternatives regularly rehearse and perform with The Talent to make sure that they can perform to exactly the same standard and to learn any new material or particulars of The Talent's show. Imagine Chris Martin from Coldplay being unable to play but substituting Gary Barlow in his place and you've got the right idea. When not performing with The Talent this collection of accomplished dep's can be found appearing in a West End theatre pit or alongside named artists including Dave Grohl, Pulp & Westlife.

And so The Gifted was born...

It wasn't long before we had created an identical group of musicians who had the same level of performance experience and skill which had made The Talent so successful. Now, rather than turn clients away to seek out an alternative form of entertainment we are able to offer The Gifted. The Gifted come complete with the same intelligently controlled lighting system, large QSC powered pa system, repertoire and of course (most importantly) the same image and stage presence as you'd expect. Ultimately, all the other aspects of The Gifted's performance and the service provided are identical to The Talent meaning you don't have to spend hours trawling the internet for a band to match The Talent - we have the perfect alternative right here!
