1. - Why should we use Monitor Music Ltd?
   • Monitor Music Ltd is a professional managed agency offering years of experience within the music industry. From the very beginning of your planning stage we understand how important it is that the artists we supply are of the highest quality.
   • We have a large roster of top quality artists, from soloists to 12 piece bands, female/male vocalists, string quartets and DJs.
   • You will be allocated your own personal assistant so no matter where you are with your booking you will receive a high level of customer care with expert and impartial advice.
   
   
2. - Do the artists have their own PA equipment and lighting?
   • All of our artists supply their own PA equipment and lighting (subject to limitations set by venue) which gives you added piece of mind as the artists are familiar with their own sound and everything will run smoothly on the night. Most importantly there is no extra charge for the artist to use their own equipment.
   • We would advise you to check with the venue to ensure they are happy with our artists using their own PA.


3. - Can we see the artist perform live before booking them?
   • This is very difficult to answer as the majority of the artists on our roster are professional function bands and therefore do not perform at many public events. It may be possible for you to attend a private function but this is at the discretion of the client.
   • We are able to send you demo CDs of our artists performing live so you are able to listen to the sound as if you were there.


4. - How do I confirm my booking?
   • Please contact us either by phone or email with the date of your function and the artist(s) you would like to book. We will then send out the required documentation.
   • We will send two contracts outlining all the terms and conditions. We simply ask you to sign and return one of the contracts along with the deposit (amount is stated on contract) and this will secure the date.
   • We ask that the final balance is made on the day/night of the function - please note, no reminder will be sent for this and it is your responsibility to ensure payment is made.


5. - Will there be any additional costs?
   • All costs will be outlined within the contract and no hidden charges will be sprung upon you at the last minute.
   • When we are quoting for the artist we will take into consideration how far they will need to travel etc.
   • If you require an early set up, i.e. if you would like the artist set before an afternoon meal, there will be a small charge of £10 per artist per hour until the performance starts. In line with this if you require the artist to perform after 12.00 midnight we normally charge the same fee per hour again.


6. - How long do the artists take to set up their equipment?
   • The majority of our artists will need between 45 minutes and an hour to set up their equipment and sound check ready for the performance.
   • Larger bands may need up to one and a half to two hours depending on the size etc. We will need to discuss with you and the venue the arrangements for the artist to set up in order to create as little disruption to your day as possible. We are more than happy to liaise with the venue on your behalf and discuss any arrangements and requirements with them directly.


7. - How long will the artist perform for?
• Most of our artists, especially at functions, will perform 3 x 45 minute sets. This is dependant on the start and finish times. Please contact us with your requirements and we will discuss the best options for you.


8. - Will I be able to request a certain song for the artist to perform?
• The answer is YES. All of our artists are more then happy to learn a song for you. Please give us at least one months notice so that the artists can familiarise themselves with it.


9. - Can I choose all the songs I want played from the repertoire list?
• The repertoire lists that we provide are there for you pick the type of songs you would like played. We do not suggest that you try to pick entire set lists.
• To allow the artist to perform the type of songs you like we advise that you let us know of any songs that you definately do not wish to be played.
• The artists know which songs will get the crowd up and dancing and more importantly keep the crowd dancing all night long.
